Shadow people (also known as shadow figures, shadow beings, shadow men, or shadow folk) are supernatural shadow-like figures of both modern folklore and paranormal popular culture that believers claim appear as dark humanoid forms or evasive specters seen mostly in peripheral vision.

Sasquatch -is an alleged ape-like creature purportedly inhabiting forests, mainly in the Pacific Northwest region of North America. Bigfoot is usually described as a large, hairy, bipedal humanoid. Many believers in its existence contend that the same or similar creatures are found around the world under different regional names, most prominently the Yeti of the Himalayas.

Scrying - A term used to cover a wide range of divination techniques which parapsychology would tend to classify as types of ESP. Most scrying techniques involve some degree of fixation on a surface with a clear optical depth (e.g. a crystal ball, a pool of ink or deep water) or on an area which shows random patterns (e.g. flames in a fire, smoke), the idea being that subconscious information available to the scrying will be manifested in their interpretation of the imagery or random patterns they see. Techniques using a clear optical depth are actually very similar to the idea behind the homogenous visual field used in Ganzfeld ESP research.

Séance - a meeting of people who are gathered to receive messages from spirits or to listen to a spirit medium discourse with or relay messages from spirits

Sensitive - a person or medium that has the ability to detect spirit energy with more awareness than the average person through some or all of their senses.

Subliminal Perception - is a signal or message embedded in another medium, designed to pass below the normal limits of the human mind's perception. These messages are unrecognizable by the conscious mind, but in certain situations can affect the subconscious mind and can negatively or positively influence subsequent later thoughts, behaviors, actions, attitudes, belief systems and value systems.

Supernatural - pertains to an order of existence beyond the scientifically visible universe. Religious miracles are typically supernatural claims, as are spells and curses, divination, the belief that there is an afterlife for the dead, and innumerable others. Supernatural beliefs have existed in many cultures throughout human history.

Smudging - smudging is the burning of sacred herbs in tribal cleansing, purification, and prayer ceremonies.

Spirit - A spirit commonly refers to a ghost.

Spirit Guide - is a term used by the Western tradition of Spiritualist Churches, mediums, and psychics to describe an entity that remains a disincarnate spirit in order to act as a spiritual counselor or protector to a living incarnated human being.

Traditionally, within the spiritualist churches, spirit guides were often stereotyped ethnically, with Native Americans, Chinese or Egyptians being popular for their perceived ancient wisdom, saints, or enlightened individuals. Nevertheless, the term can also refer to animals or totems, controls, angels, or nature spirits.

Spirit Photography - is a type of photography whose primary attempt is to capture images of spiritual entities. It was first used by William H. Mumler in the 1860s.

Soul - is the immaterial part of a person. It is usually thought to consist of one's thoughts and personality, and can be synonymous with the spirit, mind or self. In theology, the soul is often believed to live on after the person’s death, and some religions posit that God creates souls. In some cultures, non-human living things, and sometimes inanimate objects are said to have souls, a belief known as animism.

Specter - usually refers to a terrifying ghost

Sixth Sense - A power of perception independent of the five senses (touch, smell, sight, feeling, taste).

S4 - The top secret installation at Area-51 where the nine gravity propelled discs were held, according to Robert Lazar.

SETI  - Search for Extra Terrestrial Intelligence. It was founded to scan the sky for electromagnetic waves from an unknown intelligence. The SETI project was shut down by US Congress in October 1993 due to budget cuts. UFO researchers are skeptical of the project. As Dr. Pierre Guerin said in "Flying Saucer Review", "The government already knows that aliens exist and don't use electromagnetic waves at all. It would be similar to detect Indian smoke signals using a radio receiver."

Table Tipping - is a type of séance in which participants sit around a table, place their hands on it, and wait for rotations. The table was purportedly made to serve as a means of communicating with the spirits; the alphabet would be slowly called over and the table would tilt at the appropriate letter, thus spelling out words and sentences.

Talisman - A design or inscription that is worn, carried or displayed, for the purpose of invoking strength, power, protection or the aid of spirits.

Telekinesis - A psychic phenomenon where-in objects are remotely displaced and moved around, solely by the powers of the mind.

Telepathy - describes the purported transfer of information on thoughts or feelings between individuals by means other than the five classical senses

Thunderbird - in cryptozoology, a rumored large flying birdlike creature of the Americas, allegedly the source of the mythical bird.

Touch Healing - To impart through your hands soothing and healing vibrations of energy.
